第一屆語(yǔ)言?文學(xué)?翻譯國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)研討會(huì)擬于2008年6月下旬（會(huì)期2天）在素有“東方莫斯科”美譽(yù)的哈爾濱市舉行，本次會(huì)議由哈爾濱工程大學(xué)舉辦，會(huì)議期間將邀請(qǐng)國(guó)內(nèi)外知名學(xué)者進(jìn)行專題報(bào)告會(huì)和學(xué)術(shù)研討會(huì)等活動(dòng)，以促進(jìn)語(yǔ)言、文學(xué)和翻譯領(lǐng)域內(nèi)的學(xué)術(shù)交流。

會(huì)議主題為：21世紀(jì)英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言研究與創(chuàng)新

會(huì)議議題為：

1.語(yǔ)言研究：包括近二十年來(lái)語(yǔ)言學(xué)研究的進(jìn)展；語(yǔ)言與認(rèn)知、語(yǔ)言與社會(huì)、語(yǔ)言與心理、語(yǔ)言與文化、語(yǔ)言與測(cè)試、應(yīng)用語(yǔ)言學(xué)；語(yǔ)言研究中的學(xué)科交叉問(wèn)題等；

2.文學(xué)研究：包括當(dāng)代外國(guó)文學(xué)趨勢(shì)研究；重要作家與作品研究；文學(xué)流派、思潮、運(yùn)動(dòng)研究；外國(guó)文學(xué)教學(xué)研究；文學(xué)與語(yǔ)言學(xué)關(guān)系研究等；

3.翻譯研究：包括翻譯研究的發(fā)展趨勢(shì)和動(dòng)向；文學(xué)名著翻譯研究；應(yīng)用翻譯研究；翻譯批評(píng)研究；翻譯與文化；翻譯教學(xué)研究；翻譯的學(xué)科與專業(yè)建設(shè)研究等。

會(huì)議工作語(yǔ)言為英文和中文，請(qǐng)擬與會(huì)者在2008年5月1日之前將中文或者英文摘要（中文摘要400字，英文摘要250詞）并附作者姓名、性別、單位、職稱、通信地址、郵編、電話、電子郵件等，發(fā)送電子郵件到gcdx2007@163.com。

組委會(huì)將組織專家進(jìn)行評(píng)審，于2008年6月1日之前寄正式會(huì)議邀請(qǐng)涵。會(huì)后將出版本屆會(huì)議論文集。論文全文應(yīng)在4000―5000字（詞）左右，出版論文者報(bào)到時(shí)須提交電子稿全文。

會(huì)務(wù)費(fèi)：國(guó)外參會(huì)者：180美元；國(guó)內(nèi)參會(huì)者：500元（研究生300元）。差旅費(fèi)、住宿費(fèi)自理。

Call for Papers

The First International Academic Conference on Language-Literature-Translation

The firstInternational Academic Conference on Language, Literature, and Translation would be held byHarbinEngineeringUniversityinHarbin, which enjoys a long-standing fame as “Oriental Moscow”, at the end of June, 2008 [for two days]. The conference will witness the presence of some celebrated scholars both at home and abroad on some special issues, with a hope to promote exchanges between scholars in the studies of language, literature and translation respectively.

Conference Theme:The Originality of Language Studies in the 21^stCentury

The conference will mainly embrace:

1. language studies on：the latest development in language studies；language and cognition, language and society, language and psychology, language and culture, language and language testing, applied linguistics; some interdisciplinary issues in language studies, etc;

2. literature studies on: the latest trends in foreign literature fields; eminent writers and mastermpieces; the literature shools, trend and movement; foreign literature teaching; the studies on the relationship between linguistics and literature, etc.

3. translation studies on:the latest development and trends for translology; literature masterpieces; applied translations; translation criticisms; translation and culture; translation teaching; the construction of translation as a discipline,etc.

Conference language: both Chinese and English.

The Conference Organization Committee will hold a pre-selection of the abstracts received. Then an official invitation letter would be delivered to those accepted before June 1^st, 2008 . All the papers accepted would be published in a synposium after the meeting. Please make sure your paper is written within 4000―5000 words. Please upload your paper in a complete version to the Conference Organization Committee while you get registered.

Fees and Tuitions:180 dollars for foreign scholars;

500 RMB for domestic scholars;（postgraduates:300RMB）

The other fees [for travaling and hotel] are not included.
