翻譯和外語教學(xué)離不開計(jì)算機(jī)技術(shù)的支持。為了進(jìn)一步推動(dòng)計(jì)算機(jī)技術(shù)在翻譯和外語教學(xué)中的應(yīng)用研究，加強(qiáng)與國內(nèi)外相關(guān)領(lǐng)域?qū)＜摇W(xué)者的合作與交流，上海理工大學(xué)和香港中文大學(xué)將聯(lián)合舉辦“計(jì)算機(jī)技術(shù)在翻譯和外語教學(xué)中的應(yīng)用國際研討會”，會議于2012年11月8日至9日在上海理工大學(xué)舉行。會議將邀請香港中文大學(xué)翻譯系主任陳善偉教授、上海外國語大學(xué)陳堅(jiān)林教授、 英國帝國學(xué)院高級講師Mark Shuttleworth、美國加州州立大學(xué)(弗雷斯諾)Shinchan Wong教授等國內(nèi)外相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的專家學(xué)者參加會議，并陳學(xué)語海理工大學(xué)舉行。會議將邀請國內(nèi)外有關(guān)作主題發(fā)言。大會將向《外語電化教學(xué)》(CSSCI)、《上海翻譯》(CSSCI)和《上海理工大學(xué)學(xué)報(bào)》（社科版）推薦并刊登大會優(yōu)選論文。大會將設(shè)立優(yōu)秀論文獎(jiǎng)，特等獎(jiǎng)1名，一等獎(jiǎng)2名，二等獎(jiǎng)4名，三等獎(jiǎng)8名。

Call for Papers

Translation and foreign language teaching need the assistance of computer technology. Therefore, to push forward the research on application of computer technology in translating and foreign language teaching and to promote cooperation and communication among Chinese and foreign scholars and researchers in relevant fields, the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST for short) and the Chinese University of Hong Kong will jointly sponsor “International Conference on Application of Computer Technology in Translating and Foreign Language Teaching,” which will be held from Nov. 8 to Nov. 9, 2012 at the university of USST. Scholars both at home and abroad will be invited as keynote speakers，including Professor Chen Shanwei from Chinese University of Hong Kong，Professor Chen Jianlin from Shanghai International Studies University, Senior Lecturer Mark Shuttleworth from Imperiral College London and Professor Shinchan Wong fromCalifornia State University Fresno, USA. Excellent scholarly papers will be selected and recommended to some journals for publication such asComputer-assisted Foreign Language Education(CSSCI),Shanghai Journal of Translators(CSSCI)andJournal of USST(Social Science Edition). Awards will be set for Excellent Papers: 1 for special prize, 2 for first prize, 4 for second prize and 8 for third prize.
